U2 To Broadcast Concert on Youtube (fixed)

by Greg Bussmann on October 23, 2009

This Sunday, October 25th, Irish rock band U2 will be performing in Los Angeles at the Rose Bowl to a record 96,000 fans. The band will also be streaming the entire concert live on Youtube.

Youtube says it is confident it can withstand the load of viewers, but if you do find yourself having difficulty with the site during the concert, Youtube says they plan to replay the whole thing 2 times in a row immediately after the live broadcast.

The band goes on at 8:30 California time if you are interested in catching it.

The show is being filmed anyway, according to the band’s manager, so “it’s the perfect opportunity to extend the party beyond the stadium.”

Sounds like a concert dvd is in the works as well.
