Twitter has just begun a limited rollout on their new retweet feature. Basically they are implementing a retweet button on the website that will allow you to retweet an interesting post right from the Twitter website.
Twitter had this to say about it “Retweet is a button that makes forwarding a particularly interesting tweet to all your followers very easy. In turn, we hope interesting, newsworthy, or even just plain funny information will spread quickly through the network making its way efficiently to the people who want or need to know.”
Only a small number of users will see this feature tonight, but once they are satisfied it works as intended, they will roll it out to everyone.
