How Much For That New Pearl Jam Song? Just One Tweet

by Greg Bussmann on January 5, 2010

Pearl Jam has teamed up with Culture Jam on a new site that allows you to tweet about about Pearl Jam’s new song “Just Breathe.”  In return for a tweet, they will give you a free download of a live version of the song recorded at Austin City Limits late last year. (If I am not mistaken, it is mostly just Eddie Vedder on an acoustic guitar, but it is a really cool song, in my opinion.)

Anyway, the site is actually a simple application that gets your Twitter credentials via OAuth. But this is not quite a completely free lunch. In addition to the tweet you have to send, by actually sending it, you will automatically follow the @pearljam account on Twitter.  But if you are inclined to take part in this giveaway, that is probably not that big of a deal.

While you are tweeting about the song, you can also enter to win a very limited edition of Pearl Jam’s new record Backspacer on white vinyl. Click the picture to take part.
