St. Louis Real Estate Guru – Video Blogging

St. Louis Realtor Adds Video to Arch City Homes

Karen Goodman, independent realtor, social networking and media aficionado, has taken up video on the blog front.  Kicking off with a realty selling experiment, Karen tossed her first video. Explaining how to turn an open house into a success versus a guessing game.

Invite the Neighbors introduces Karen’s use of new technique for an open house. Surprise, it’s about inviting the nearby neighbors to the event. Karen kicks it up a notch, replacing fliers with business card style event announcements. Sweetening the deal are two suckers as well.

Can candy and spiff cards make a difference? Be sure to read the blog, watch the video and stay tuned.

Karen Goodman has been voted one of St. Louis Magazine’s Five Star agents four years running. She took the dive into social networking and media at the first BarCamp St. Louis. She now trains others in the realty business about blogging, Twitter and more.

  • Wow, thanks for the shout out and kind words. I've been toying with the idea of video for awhile. I have posted a few explanatory videos (by others) on my blog, but I finally got up the courage to put myself in front of the camera.

Hopefully, this one will be the start of many more to come.

  • Karen, you've become more than just another realtor to me and others in the St. Louis Community. Your promotion of events beyond realty and your work within that community really stand out.

    Cheers,
    Todd
