The Cubicle Chick is Throwing The Only Social Media Week Event We Can Find In St. Louis

by Greg Bussmann on February 3, 2010

Social Media WeekThis week is Social Media Week. I guess that shouldn’t necessarily mean much to you, because anyone can declare any day, week, or month anything they want – and there are tons of occasions like this that go by without anyone noticing. (For example, did you know the first week of October is National Influenza Vaccination week?)

On top of that, Social Media Week is an event that takes place elsewhere. New York, San Fransisco, and four other large cities around the world are all hosting Social Media Week events. If you want to read more about it all, here’s a link.

My point is, like it or not, this is probably not something on most people’s social radar around here.

At any rate, we have been keeping an eye out to see if anyone around St. Louis would grab the torch and do anything to coincide with these events, and so far, what we have found is a “virtual tweetup” given by the Cubicle Chick. So we wanted to pass that along so you can get involved.

Cheers to Danyelle, aka the Cubicle Chick, for putting her event together.

If you have spotted any events we missed, please let us know
