Hey it’s nothing bad, don’t worry…I just had a thought about something I could do to enhance the place a little. If you are a regular here, and there must be a handful of you, you know that I “tweet” new events and news from here under my Twitter handle @execbp. And that is all well and good, I have had a good response, but execbp is the shorthand name of my business, and I tweet about that too, plus anything else that comes to mind.
I am afraid the message I want to get across here might be getting lost, or confused in the stream of everything else I am throwing out there, or simply not worth the aggravation to track down. There may also be people that would just like to see what is going on here, and around St. Louis, who are not necessarily interested in my business. So for the sake of clarity, the Social Media Report needs it’s own identity, and being that Twitter accounts are free, there seems to be little reason not to give this site it’s own Twitter account.
So with that, I would like to ask you to follow this site’s new Twitter account, @stlsmr. It is how everything posted here will come to Twitter from now on. It will not be a bot, though, I will do all that posting manually. I will continue to post new items to both twitter id’s for a while to accommodate you procrastinators, but eventually, I want to have everything moved to the new account.
So, here it is again…click it and follow this site on Twitter. Please.
