Local blogger and real estate professional Karen Goodman is compiling a great list of St. Louis’ best free WiFi locations at her Arch City Homes blog.
Karen has put together a great blog over at Arch City combining a wealth of knowledge about the local real estate market with some useful local St. Louis social media related information. It is worth perusing.
Today though, I thought I should bring to your attention her (growing) list of free WiFi locations throughout the St. Louis area.
The idea for the list came to her, Karen says, because:
I spend a lot of time working out of coffee shops. Yes, I do have an office. And I work from home a lot. But, sometimes I find the office too distracting and home just too quiet.
On these days, I go in search of a coffee shop with free WiFi so I can get some work done in an environment with energy & activity, but one where no one knows me and will stop by my table to chat.
Karen believes there is more to free Wifi than just free WiFi, however, so she rated her entries on the following additional criteria:
- Good coffee with free unlimited refills (coffee)
- Good access to outlets (plugs)
- Real food…not just muffins & dessert (food)
- Easy parking (cars)
Some of the user submitted locations are not as thoroughly reviewed as hers, but it is already a very useful list. So next time you feel like heading out to find some free WiFi, consult her list before you go.
